REVIEW: Evoshield ProStyle Protective Batting Gloves

My sons are fans of anything EvoShield. It’s totally a trendy brand “lemming mentality” thing. If the boys spy that home plate logo on anything from elbow guards to gym shorts, they MUST have them. It’s how I wound up paying $59.99 for a pair of batting gloves for my 14 year old.

I love EvoShield’s top quality protective gear. Because of this, I sort of assumed that their batting gloves would offer the same value.

Not so.

For the first month, they were good gloves. However, shortly after, they started to shrivel up and break down. They were never as comfortable as previous brands such as Nike and Under Armour.

Pine tar just destroyed them. in wood bat tournaments. It made them shrivel up and stiffen up. Within a month, they began to tear in between the fingers. Over all, they didn’t hold up as well as a pair that cost half the price. They didn’t stand up to being used multiple times per week.
