Well, baseball parents, it looks like USSSA’s bating justice department may be softening up a tiny bit.
After removing the 30” and 29” 2018 DeMarini CF Zen 2 ¾” (-10) model from their Disallowed Bat List citing good behavior last month, USSSA has now decided to pardon three more bats, fully restoring their ballgame rights. They shared the decision in a short press release this week.
“Following further consideration, the 28,” 31,” 32″ 2018 DeMarini CF Zen 2 ¾” (-10) model bats have been removed from USSSA’s Disallowed Bat List. Effective immediately, these bats will be allowed in USSSA sanctioned play.”
The tournament organization offered no explanation for their change of heart on the matter.
As you can imagine, 30″ and 29″ are ecstatic to have their family members out of “disallowed bat prison” and back home with them in the dugout. The entire CF Zen 2 ¾” (-10) clan would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers throughout this difficult ordeal.
If you’re the owner of a 28,” 31″ or 32″ 2018 DeMarini CF Zen 2 ¾” (-10) model, then go ahead…. place it back in your kid’s bat bag and delete that for-sale ad on the Facebook Marketplace.
Looks like you’re not out $350 after all!
